They are the flying kings of the rainforest: Macaws originate from the tropics of Central and South America, where they roam in social swarms of about ten to twenty animals outside the breeding season. The tall soldier is almost a meter from the head to the tips of the tail feathers - a very majestic appearance. The German name of this parrot species alludes to its mostly olive green feather dress. But this does not look like a uniform at all: the forehead is decorated with a red strip of feathers, the large wings and swing feathers sparkle turquoise blue, and the elegantly spaced feathers from the tail glow blue, red and yellow. For their magnificent appearance, as well as for their intelligence, macaws are kept in wildlife parks and also as pets. The Bullyland figure is precisely designed and measures approximately 10 cm.
